Clinica Sierra Vista - , From humble beginnings in a storefront warehouse, Clinica Sierra Vista has grown to become one of the largest, private, non-profit, community based and governed agencies in California. We are a leader in the provision of primary health care and preventive health education services. We are also a multi-institutional model for rural health care delivery.

Since 1971, Clinica Sierra Vista has grown to twenty-four sites, with over 900 employees. We are a testament to what can be accomplished when there is a sincere desire to serve.

Making Appointments
You can make an appointment at any of Clinica Sierra Vista's health centers by calling the location you wish to visit and scheduling an appointment. Health center hours vary by location, so please call the location nearest you for the days and hours of operation.

Same-Day Appointments (Walk-Ins)
Clinica Sierra Vista also accepts same-day appointments at all of our Health Centers, although your wait time may be longer, since patients with scheduled appointments will be seen first.

What to Bring With You
When visiting the health center for the first timee, Please bring proper Identification, which may include social security card, valid driver's license, birth certificate or another form of official identification. Clinica Sierra Vista accepts Medi-Cal, Medicare, most private insurance, most HMOs, senior and commercial plans, and self-pay. We have Medi-Cal outreach workers and representatives from Healthy Families at our Health Centers that will assist patients with enrollment in these programs. If uninsured, we offer a sliding fee discount, based on your family size and income. You will also need to bring a pay stub, an unemployment check stub, a recent tax return, or a letter from your employer to prove your family income.

Clinica Sierra Vista currently operates twenty four comprehensive primary care community health centers in the rural and urban areas of Kern, Fresno, and Inyo Counties, located in California, encompassing several thousand square miles of farm land, desert, and mountain areas. Community health centers provide comprehensive primary and preventative health care, including medical, dental and behavioral health services, in areas where access to health care has historically been inadequate. Additionally, we operate multiple health education, prevention and case management programs providing a comprehensive array of health and human services. We serve primarily the low-income and uninsured population, including migrant farm workers, the homeless, and other special populations.
